I DECIDED RATHER THAN TRYING TO SHARE MY CHRISTMAS MUSIC ON BOTH OF MY OTHER BLOGS AT ONCE THAT I WOULD COME UP WITH ANOTHER BLOG TO SHARE JUST HOLIDAY MUSIC. I CALL IT CHRISTMAS SHARIO BLOG DUE TO THE "LIVING STEREO" LOGO THAT I MODIFIED TO FIT THE BLOG NAME. ANOTHER REASON FOR THIS BLOG IS I STILL HAVE TONS OF CHRISTMAS MUSIC TO SHARE, AND DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE UP SPACE ON MY OTHER BLOGS WHEN IT IS AFTER THE CHRISTMAS SEASON. I HOPE YOU ENJOY ALL OF MY BLOGS, AND CONTINUE TO VISIT THEM ALL. THANKS FOR COMING.
DAVE
Expanding the empire I see? That is very good of you to do this.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work.
I saw you mentioned that you have Finnerty Flynn from Captain Kangaroo. I've been looking everywhere for that for my kids. I'd absolutely love to have a copy. I had it when I was a kid and I know they'd enjoy it. Thanks so much
ReplyDeleteYes. Now that Christmas is over I am going to be able to spend more time on my non-holiday music more.

Just wondering, but you wouldn't happen to need any classic Disney soundtracks, would you? ^_^
ReplyDeleteI am looking for a record from the late 70's or early 80's....I have little recollection...but I know it was a black vinyl, with a blue middle and a man wearing a top hat and scarf on the blue part. One of the lyrics for the song goes something like; "The cat says, 'Meow', the dog says, 'Woof', the cow says, 'moo', and the rooster he says 'cock a doodle doo at the break of every day'.....
ReplyDeleteI can't think of anything else, except for maybe the cover of the record was mainly white. Can you help??? A lot of the things you have on here I can distinctly remember....thanks for the trip back to the 70's!!!
Jody S.,
ReplyDeleteDoesn't ring a bell sorry. Have you tried a Lyrics Search site using thos lryics to search for the title.
Dave
Hi Jody - I know that song from my childhood, but I can't help with the author...We had it on an 8-track tape.
ReplyDelete"The Lion says Roar, the Fish says Glug-Glug, the Giraffe says...the Snake says SSS, the Cow says Moo, the Dog says Ruff, and the Rooster he says Cock-a-doodle-doo at the break of every day"
You will also note that the Giraffe does not say anything...in they lyrics, the child says that he has never heard a Giraffe say anything, and the adult replies "so sing it that way!!"
