GET SMART!! The Original 1966 TV-Soundtrack LP!

DADDYKIN HAD THIS TO SAY WHENHE SHARED THIS LP:

"Hi. This TV tie-in album was originally released in 1966 by United Artists, serving both as a soundtrack for the classic NBC-TV sitcom and a vehicle for the comedy of its star, the late great Don Adams. "Get Smart" was a hilarious sendup of the James Bond spy craze. Adams played secret agent Maxwell Smart, Agent 86 for CONTROL (the good guys). His partner was a female agent known only as 99, played to sultry perfection by Barbara Feldon. They reported to CONTROL's chief, known only as "Chief." The three lead players had a great chemistry working between them. Max was seemingly oblivious to the fact that 99 was madly in love with him. This was played to good effect for most of the series' five-year run, but in the end they finally tie the knot (even after marriage, Max refers to her as "99"!) The late Edward Platt's Chief was the exasperated straight man to Adam's bumbling detective. He was usually on the receiving end of Max's most famous catch phrases, such as "Would you believe?" and "Missed it by that much"! The enemy was an underworld organization known as KAOS. Among the many "bad guys" that Smart would encounter was the German agent Siegfried, played so over-the-top by Bernie Kopell that he became a fan favorite and recurring character. This album gives you a taste of the show's camp humor (much of it written by Buck Henry!) and includes two bonus tracks by Barbara Feldon. Enjoy! TRACK LISTING: 01. WASHINGTON FOUR-INDIANS THREE, 02. SCHOOL DAYS, 03. SATAN PLACE, 04. CONE OF SILENCE, 05. TOO MANY CHIEFS- COUNTERSIGN, 06. THE LATEST DEVICES, 07. ALL IN THE MIND, 08. THE INCREDIBLE HARRY HOO, 09. I'M ONLY HUMAN, 10. KISSES FOR KAOS, 11. PLANE SEQUENCE, 12. TOO MANY CHIEFS- HOTEL SEQUENCE, 13. WEEKEND VAMPIRE, 14. SORRY 'BOUT THAT, 15. MAX (BY BARBARA FELDON), 16. "99" (BY BARBARA FELDON), 17. GET SMART THEME."
