THIS LP IS NARRATED BY RICA MOORE. "SHE WAS THE GRAND-DAUGHTER OF THE FOUNDER OF THE "THOMPSON CAFETERIAS" CHAIN. IT SEEMS HER MAIN LOVE WAS WRITING CHILDREN'S MUSIC. SHE WAS THE FEMALE VOICE ON THE GRAMMY-NOMINATED "ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION" LP WITH MOORE & JIMINY CRICKET. THIS SONG MAY HAVE BEEN THE INSPIRATION FOR WALT DISNEY TO HAVE THE "LEARNING TO TELL TIME IS FUN" LP RECORDING MADE WITH LAURA OLSHER (FAMOUS FOR HER NARRATION ON THE 1964 DISNEY LP ("CHILLING, THRILLING SOUNDS OF THE HAUNTED HOUSE"). FROM WHAT I CAN TELL MOORE'S CAREER IN SHOW BUSINESS WAS VERY SHORT-LIVED. SHE WENT ON TO RAISE PAPILLON DOGS WHERE SHE SETTLED DOWN IN MASSACHUSETTS. MS. You're welcome. I've never heard Rica Moore narrate before either that I can recall. I just added a little info about moore that I just found in the "Mouse Tracks" book.

Maybe an earlier edition? I dunno. TheMOuse Tracks Author's are the ones telling the facts here not me. All I can go by is their book and the fact that Robbie Lester had quit working for Disney by the time this LP was released. Not going to argue about it. Just quoting the Book Source. Email them and argue.

Ms. Moore, in addition to her work with Walt Disney Productions was also a member of the Ray Conniff Orchestra and Singers during the early through late 60s. She was a featured soloist when Ray took to the road for his Live Concerts. She sang 'He's Got The Whole World in His Hands and dueted with Ray on "I's So Nice To Have A MAn Around The House" with Ray adding his own humor and wit during those duets. Ms. Moore was a class act and a wonderful person to know.
Just found this thread, long past the original post for sure, but I do have this album and I am reading on the label and it says "narrated by Rica Moore, accompanied by Shelly Manne, John Guarnieri, Al McKibbon, Catherine Gotthoffer." On the flip side is the Story of the Twelve Brothers. (Which scared the crap out of me when I was little. Haha)
