I would love to listen to these records, above all the sesame street one. Is it possible, and if so how?

Thank you for your excellent blogs, keep up the good work,

A French Fan

I'm working on having them ready to listen to now. They should all be ready by mid-week.

Hey Dave,

Did I miss the links for these (except Bugs) or are they still works in progress?

Still works in progress. I had a problem with a couple of the LP rips, and had to delete the files and start all over, and then I got side tracked with other things. I'll get back to them soon.

The Casper album remains one of my all time favorites from my childhood. The classic Peter Pan records were great.

Hi! I've been looking through your blog, but I can't tell if you've got the actual records I remember from my childhood. I would love to hear these old Disney records again -

Pollyanna - I think Kevin Corcoran read it

Bambi - I don't remember the narrator's name, but it was a woman with a wonderfully warm voice. I remember getting little kid chills when she intoned "MAN had entered the forest".

The Rescurers - another female narrator

Robin Hood - I think Roger Miller read it? His songs were definitely included.

I listened to these so much as a kid, almost obsessively. Any suggestions where I could look for mp3s or tapes? I don't have a record player, woe.

omg. I finally made it through your blog, and you have the EXACT copy of The Rescuers I remember? I heard the first line "In a sinister dark swamp in the middle of a bayou" and literally got tears in my eyes. And now I have such hopes that you have the rest. :D

Thank you for the Snoopy vs Red Baron! I know it's a bit obscure, but I had this and it brought back a lot of good moments for me! I thought it was lost to the ages....

Dave: I have been cleaning out some old items and found several childrens records and was wondering if you wanted them. I have: Disneyland Chilling Thrilling Sounds of the Haunted House (No Jacket); Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too; 10 Little Indians by Tinkerbell records; Peter Pan Players: The Best of Walt Disney; A Golden Treasury of Fairy Tales (Art Carney and Mitch Miller). I don't know the condition of the records...I no longer have a record player.
