Until the first week of November 2007 I won't be posting much new here because I'll be working on my 2007 "31 Day Countdown To Halloween" at my Mostly Ghostly Music Sharing Blaaahhhggg!!!
Dave, I can't find an email address for ya. I was ripping some records when I found my old "Robin Hood Story and Songs" album from the Disney movie. There's the obligatory old kiddie record clicks and pops, but it sounds far better than I expected. If you're interested, feel free to post it (you can use the sharebee link too if you'd like). Photos of the front and back cover are in the zip.
Dave - I'm happy to have found your site - lots of fun stuff here. I have two old (1980's) Smurf records. I have them as straight WAV files right now, but I'm happy to share them as MP3 or whatever...
I also have disco Star Wars and the Empire Strikes Back (Meco) - though those aren't quite 'childrens' per se.
This is amazing - I never thought I would find Doggie Daddy/Auggie Doggie - Little Red Riding Hood/Jack in the Beanstalk... I've looked for years..never found until now.
Just curious though...I downloaded the file for Little Red, but I listened to that one SO much when I was a kid that I instantly noticed there were huge chunks left out of the file. Is this on purpose, or were there two different recordings made?
I regret I have nothing to share with you, but I would so love to get the complete recording of that one record.
I have a large collection of LPs, Cassettes, and CDs, and now Reel To Reel Tapes. So I set up all of my blogs to share them with the world as about 90% of them are no longer available for sale. Enjoy!!!

If possible, please let me know how.
Thanks for all of this stuff! :-)

Dave -
Correction - I meant Yogi and Boo Boo Lil Red Riding Hood/Jack and the Beanstalk.
My bad.
;-)
Jules,
I'm not sure. I got the sound file right straight from my HB record. I will check, but I'm pretty positive that is all there was on the LP.

Dave -
I can still remember the dialogue that got left out....I can email it to you so you can compare to the recording....
Ok. Do so please. Thanks.
Dave
Hi Dave -
I can actually email you a "transcript" of the dialogue that is missing, because I can actually remember it.
There must have been two different recordings.
Helps to check previous comments beofre commenting again, doesn't it? I'll send an email.
That'd be great. Thanks.
Dave
