RODS N' RAT FINKS!! The Classic Big Daddy Roth LP in MONO!
DADDYKIN HAD THIS TO SAY AT HIS BLOG:
"Hi. Like many of you, I'm awaiting the Sundazed reissues of the three Ed "Big Daddy" Roth albums on CD. Until they arrive, here's a vinyl rip of "Rods n' Rat Finks" from my mono copy. I don't have the other two, but this will give you a taste of the hot rod rock that the "Kustom" car designer made with "The Weirdos and Mr. Gasser." As a kid in the 60's, I couldn't resist Roth's awesome hot rod designs. They were on everything from gum cards and stickers to model cars of his classic "Outlaw" and "Beatnik Bandit," just to name a couple. Big Daddy's character Rat Fink became a cultural icon of the hot rod world. I'm not sure of the exact release dates of the record albums, but they were all mid-60's on the Capitol label. From the little recording information I can gather, Roth himself was featured on vocals and even co-wrote some of the songs! From the back cover of "Rods n' Rat Finks" (Capitol T-2057): "This album features Ed "Big Daddy" Roth and his Philharmonic Jug and Juice Band plus the hot-dog voices of the wailin' Weirdos. This premiere performance is regarded by many to sound almost as if people had done it!" The songs are novelties based on Roth's creations, with a "surf and drag" musical backing. The original album cover artwork is included in the folder. Enjoy! TRACK LISTING: 01. THREE KATS IN A TUB, 02. T.J.T., 03. HEY RAT FINK, 04. 1947 AVANTI, 05. CHERRY-TOP CHARLIE, 06. THE LONELY STOCKER, 07. THE BALLAD OF EEFIN FINK, 08. THE COOL COOL ROD, 09. HEARSE WITH A CURSE, 10. THE WALTZ OF THE RAT FINKS, 11. FINK ROD 409."

THE RAT FINK COLLECTION ON CD WAS FINALLY RELEASED. ANOTHER BLOG HAS IT ALL SHARED HERE
I ALSO FOUND A WEBSITE THAT SHOWS A LOT OF THE RAT FINK LP ARTWORK BY ED ROTH INCLUDING THE BACK COVER OF THE HOT ROD HOOTENANNY AND THE RODS N RAT FINKS LPS HERE. IT SAYS THEY ARE THE CD INSERTS, BUT I HAVE A FEELING THEY ARE EXACT SCANS OF THE LP BACK COVERS ALSO. I ALSO FOUND, IN SEARCHING FOR LP ARTWORK, THAT THERE WERE SOME OTHER RAT FINK TYPE LPS WITH ED ROTH ARTWORK. ONE IS CALLED "THE SOUNDS OF THE SILLY SURFERS" AND THE OTHER IS "SOUNDS OF THE WEIRD-OHS".
ALSO, DADDYKIN HAD A QUESTION ABOUT THE RELEASE DATE OF THE 3 RAT FINK LPS. HERE IS WHAT I FOUND ONLINE:

"ROD 'N RAT FINKS" RELEASED 4/64*
"SURFINK" RELEASED 6/64*
*ACCORDING TO GARY USHER'S DISCOGRAPHY (BTW - "DRACULA'S DEUCE" BY THE GHOULS WAS ALSO A GARY USHER PROJECT FROM 11/64)
