This remastered soundtrack from 1996 features much of the elements which was first heard on the Disneyland LP back in 1959 under WDL-4018. Walt Disney Records did added many of the musical scores made by George Bruns and it the best remastered soundtrack album ever made.
Randy Thornton did an excellent job restoring the music and lot of others which was not included on both the original and the later Disneyland releases in 1964 under DQ-1228 and the 1970's Buena Vista release STER-4018 featured Malificent on the cover with the gatefold.
If you have the original 1959 or 1964 Disneyland releases as well as the Buena Vista stereo release from the 1970's, it should be a collector's item.
