Thanks a lot for this one. I have the "Pirates of the Caribbean" LP that I got at Yaya's Emporium in Saugerties, NY for about $10 and it's in mint condition, but it does have the "rainbow" design where it says "The Walt Disney Company" on the right instead of "Walt Disney Productions". This was the later release.
Terrance (aka TerryT1976 on YouTube) has the original LP in his collection. Thankfully I have the later copy.
I also have the LP "Mickey Mouse and His Friends". I got it at a flea market last year, and it it's in fair condition. It had a reissue Disneyland "rainbow" design, and it has a lot of scratches on both sides, except side 2 is not the best condition at all.
I was able to get this one when Disney started creating the original albums through a kiosk machine. Sadly that's gone because Disney wanted to use ITunes as their source to obtain them. :(
I've heard abouyt thsoe kiosks, and it sounds like they were an awesome source for this older Disney Lps. Ok for Disney to use iTunes, but since I had trouble with a virus file that came in through the iTunes free download, I refuse to ever use them any longer.
I have a large collection of LPs, Cassettes, and CDs, and now Reel To Reel Tapes. So I set up all of my blogs to share them with the world as about 90% of them are no longer available for sale. Enjoy!!!
