BILLY VAUGHN AND HIS ORCHESTRA CHRISTMAS CAROLS (DOT RECORDS DLP 1348 1958)

"DLP-3148/25148 - Christmas Carols - Billy Vaughn [1958] (12-62, #145) The album has three different front covers and two different back covers. The first front cover is yellow and red with a black lithograph-type drawing of a sleigh ride in the middle of the cover. The second front cover is shiny, with Billy Vaughn's name in white on a green background, "Christmas Carols" embossed in gold on red, with a gold embossed border. The third front cover is dull, almost all red, with the "Dot" logo in three colors in a green circle at the upper center, Billy Vaughn's name in white on the red background, "Christmas Carols" in yellow on red, with no embossing. The first back cover has five drawings on it and lists albums up to 3140; the second back cover has a ribbon and lists albums up to 3205. The mono version came out originally in 1958 and the stereo in 1959.
