"Hi. Remember "Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp"? It opened a lot of doors for the animal kingdom by being the first all-ape show. This 1970 live-action series starred real monkeys as secret agents who work for A.P.E. (Agency to Prevent Evil). As if that wasn't cool enough, it gets better. By night, they tore up the club scene in a psychedelic rock band called The Evolution Revolution. Just check out those outfits! The great gum music they produced was actually played by real psych/pop band The Mystic Astrologic Crystal Band (fronted by Steve Hoffman), whose two albums I may post later. The tunes are great, and the band is tight. I want to thank my friend pugsly13 for allowing me to repost his Link (no pun intended).
