"Monster Shindig" with Super Snooper & Blabbermouse

Super Snooper gets a call of a loud party out at 999 Shady Lane. They go to investigate only to find out the party is going on at a house occupied by The Gruesome Family (of Flintstones fame). Voices on this one are Paul Frees and June Foray. The main song, used throughout the LP, is called Monster Shindig. Lead vocals are by Danny Hutton. Little snippets of this song can be heard on many of the other HB Records whenever one of the characters turns on a radio. This song can be heard playing until a newsman breaks in with an announcement.

THE TITLE SONG FROM THIS LP WAS SUNG BY DANNY HUTTON OF THREE DOG NIGHT FAME. HERE'S A YOUTUBE VIDEO OF HIM SINGING THE OTHER SIDE TO THAT 45 RPM RELEASE CALLED "ROSES AND RAINBOWS" (I DON'T REMEMBER THE SONG, BUT I GUESS IT WAS A BIG HIT BACK IN 1965:

Great stuff!!!!

Trying to find the Mickey Mouse Club album, with Annette Funicello singing "How Will I know My Love".

And the sountrack to Darby O'Gill and the Little People (the scariest Disney film ever---as Pavement the bands says in a saong, "Irish folktales really scare the sh*t out of me.,..", where Sean Connery (young-young-young)SINGS "You are my Dear My Darling One..."

No chance you might have those albums or just those track in MP3 format?????

Thanks!!!!!!

No unfortunately on both counts. You might check Google Blog Search though, and see if any other blogs have them for download.

LOVE THIS! The music is a lot better than I expected. Some of the jokes are pretty good. You made my morning!

Glad I could help you out.

HB cartoons are what I grew up with in the 1960's. Along with re-runs of the great WB cartoons.

To give you an idea of how much I loved this record as a kid, I didn't just stumble on this by accident. After 40 plus years, I got it in my head to google "Monster Shindig" Ya gotta love the internet!

I understand. Back in 2002 I did a search for my first Disney LP that was called "Chilling, Thrilling Sounds Of The Haunted House" 1964 Edition. I found one site that had it shared online. I learned how to put LPs online, and I've been sharing my stuff ever since. Your story is the very reason why.

BTW - did you know it was Danny Hutton of Three Dog Night fame that sang the title song from "Monster Shindig". He started his music career as one of the first artists signed by Hanna Barbera Record Company. The other side of the "Monster Shindig" 45 rpm record, "Roses & Rainbows" was a big hit for Hutton in the west coast area back then.

I can either make you a Professional looking and sounding CD copy for $6.99 plus shipping, or you can sometimes find the Lp for sale on ebay.
